Treatment Philosophy

My objectives of treatment are: 1. To help my patients understand their pain and condition, 2. To guide them back to their usual responsibilities and activities safely. I believe in empowering my patients by encouraging them to be actively involved in the rehab process, and thus I use primarily exercise-based therapy supplemented by manual therapy techniques. What the first session involves: first off, we will rule out the possibility of pathology requiring medical attention, and thus ensuring the problem can be appropriately managed in physio. Then, we will evaluate your body’s movement patterns and response to pain to better understand the problem. Finally, we will establish goals that are important to you, and create a plan on how we will work together to achieve those goals
which usually starts with some exercise homework! Read less
